Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/iUI.2ACIB/1965.1.1.1 Message Board Post: For what it's worth I can find 4 Isoms of the right age in the 1910 census. Two are in TX. One is 31 and a servant in the household of James Butler, Avenue H, Clifton City, Bosque Co., TX. He was born in TX, both parents in Mississippi. Another in TX was age 35, married to an Elvira. This was in Nacogdoches Co., and he and his parents were b. in TX. There was one in Boshart, Marshall Co., AL, age 29, wife Minnie Lee, and there was one in Pleasant District, Clay Co., WV, age 38, b. KY, parents b. unknown, with wife Ruth. There was one other Isom. He was African American and too old to fit. I also tried searching Isham, Ison and Isum with no results for the years indexed available to me for 1870-1920.
