Did Betty and her husband have any children ? Betty was a daughter of Mace L McDADE b abt 1852 and his wife, Susan ROBERTS, a siter of Sarah "Sally" ROBERTS who was the wife of Nathan Gilbert McDADE b abt 1838. Mace is indexed as Mike Mc DADE on the 1920 KY Census in Fulton (mistranscription of M.L.). The Mace L McDADE b abt 1881 is his nephew, the son of Nathan Gilbert and Susan. Betty's siblings (other than those who died young) include: Obera McDADE m Charles BINFORD. Obera was shot by her husband, Might there be a newspaper article ? Obera McDADE BINFORD d Aug 1903. Did Obera and Charles have any children bef she died ? Some form of a Charles McDADE who was b abt 1885. He was living as late as the 1930 Census where he is enumerated with his father, Mace L McDADE. John Dean McDADE (may have used J Dean) was b abt 1889. He married 1924 a Gertrude SCHWALBACK(H) in New York. Found on 1930 Census in NY. SSDI has a possible match b Feb 1897 d Dec 1979. Grateful for any info or suggestions anyone can give me. Janice
