I have been on this list for quite some time and thought I'd try resubmitting some info to see if anyone can help. My CHANDLER was born in Iowa. That seems to be unusual. I have precious little to go on and am wondering if anyone knows WHERE in Iowa I might begin to look. Were there any towns, counties, that would be a likely place to begin? I am unfamiliar with migration patterns, except for Norwegians, which Chandler is not. Bridgett A. Chandler married William Stevens. (his father was > William, Henry.) Seems everyone has a William Chandler that they are looking for. I found "My" William Chandler on the 1870 census of Union Co. Ohio as being 25 years of age and born in New Jersey. Union Co. marriage book states that he married Maleaky D. Macumber on July 23, 1865. They had two children, Ira S. Chandler born in Oct of 1867 and Mary C. Chandler, born in 1871. Does anyone have any additional information on this family? Thanks marilee tolman

I have a copy of this book. It was written by Annamae B. Chandler. I ordered this book direct from her. It is what she refers to as the "blue book". I believe the cost was about $20.00. I don't believe that it was ever put into print, I think she just photocopoed it. It is about 109 pages, and was very helpful to me. You can contact her at: Annamae B. Chandler 13718 34th Avenue So.
