    1. Chandlers in Carroll Co. & Franklin Co. Georgia
    2. Jim & Barbara Chandler
    3. I am seeking information on a Green Chandler m. Polly Howington 08-21-1817 in Franklin Co., Georgia. In one marriage record it shows his name as Gaines the other marriage record index shows his name as Green. I show Green as the son of Joseph Chandler and Nancy Ann Turman. Is this info correct and does any one have additional info they will share with me? I also need info on Mager L. Chandler b. abt 1812. In the 1860 Carroll Co., Census he is shown as: 21 21 Mager L. Chandler; 48; M; Farmer; 200 Malinda; 47; F Edward W; 19; M Sarah E; 17; F Greenbury F;11; M Levi L; 9; M Wm M; 7; M John S; 5; M living next door to: 22 22 James Chandler; 54; M; Farmer; SC Mary; 56; F; GA I think that Mager L. is Lewis Chandler m. Malinda Sewell, the children's names that I have also match the names on this census record. I just need to confirm/double check this info. I would check my info from CFA, but I have recently moved and most of my files are in storage. I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you, Barbara

    1. Robert Chandler from VA
    2. sharon stine
    3. Hello everyone, I found a reference to Robert Chandler (from Virginia in 1660's) who married in Elizabeth Palmer. I had seen this marriage but no one could tell me were it was. Well I showed it to a genealogiest at the DAR and also a friend and both said it looked good. OK HERE IT IS on page 623 of OLD NEW KENT COUNTY VA VOL II by Malcolm Hart Harris it states that Martin Palmers daughter Elizabeth is married to Robert Chandler. This is her second marriage. Joyce, Thank you for your response on Joe B. Chandler of Spokane. My father stated on his S.S. application that his father's name was John J. Chandler. This might be a link if I can find out anything on Mary Ireland. I would guess that this couple would have been about 50 years old in 1899 when my father was born in Spokane. I think you will find this very interesting. Just click on the link below. Hi ! Donna, This is the best clue yet. I have seen this and the only thing that threw me off was the 1894 birth year, versus my father's 1899. It is a striking coincidence that the date 09/09 is the same as my father's. Dave Chandler - _Famsource@aol.com_ (mailto:Famsource@aol.com) I am a Chandler, my father Joe Buster Chandler was from the Spokane area of Washington. Since he was born 09,09,1899 there is no record of his birth. I have never been able to find out anything about his childhood or his parents other than what he told me. I have done a lot of research but I am not a great Genealogist. If anyone knows about getting any type of record that may tell about adoption or court orders for a child living with a relative or other person I would be most appreciative for any help I could get that could give me a clue to his past. All I know for sure (his words) was that he was born in Spokane, lived around possible the Whitman area since he talked about the Poluse & Snake River. That his mother died when he was about three years of age (1902) and he went to Yakima with his father after leaving school in the third grade about 1908. This is about the extent of information I know of my father before he came to California in 1920. I saw a Joseph B. Chandler living in Pacific County on the 1920 census, but this turned out not to be my father as he died previous to my fathers death. Every document I have of Joe, Social Security, Marriage and work applications states he was born in Spokane, but I have never seen anything specific that proves he existed there prior to 1920. 3. Greetings, I am an Afro-American, and my ancestors were from Halifax County Virginia. I recently obtained, and recorded, 797 Obituaries of African-Americans who were connected with Halifax County Va. in some kind of way. Almost none of these persons can be found in George Calvin Waldrep III two voI. Halifax County (VA) Cemetery books. . I have included, when it was given in the obit: 1. Surname 2. first, second, and third given names, 3. DOB, DOD, 4. Name of spouse, sometimes date of marriage, 5. Names of parents, 6. Where the person was buried. 7. If the person was born or died elsewhere etc. These persons were born as early as 1833, and died as late as 2001 (not the same person). Again, these are Afro-Americans. This is info I compiled myself, from the actual Obituaries, I did not copy this info from Anyone or Anywhere else. I am willing to to do look ups. Please, do not clog this list with your requests, send them to me at: lchand3835@cox.net Larry

Now I am trying to find Keziah's family. She married Abram about 1839 and I can find them on the 1840 and 1850 census in Ovid, Seneca county, NY but by 1860 Abram has disappeared and the family is scattered in Ovid. I think Abram may have died by 1860. Any information on Keziah and her family would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Joyce in San Antonio, TX
