The CHAMBERLAIN family I'm looking for lived in St. Clair County, MI, in the 1800's. I'm looking for ancestors and descendants of Ellen CHAMBERLAIN, believed born about 1835 in Unknown, Canada; died January 15, 1881, in Brockway, MI. Ellen CHAMBERLAIN married about 1857 to Robert CAMPBELL. Three known children of Ellen and Robert CAMPBELL are 1) Mary Jane CAMPBELL believed born about 1858 in Detroit, MI; married July 27, 1881, in Lakeport, St. Clair County, MI, to Charles WOLCOMB, believed born about 1853 in Detroit, MI. 2) Robert CAMPBELL believed born about 1862; died February 24, 1921, St. Claire County, MI. He was married. 3) William CAMPBELL believed born about 1865. I do not know what happened to Ellen's first husband, Robert CAMPBELL. I believe he died. Ellen CHAMBERLAIN CAMPBELL married December 12, 1869, to Thomas H. MORRILL, believed born between 1820 and 1826 in New Hampshire or Vermont; died September 15, 1881, Brockway, St. Clair County, MI. Ellen and Thomas MORRILL had five known children. 4) Martha G. MORRILL believe born about 1871. 5) Nancey MORRILL, born October 5, 1872, Brockway, St. Clair County, MI; died unknown. 6) Nancey MORRILL, born November 5, 1873, Brockway, St. Clair County, MI. 7) Thomas Alvin MORRILL born March 1875, Brockway, St. Clair County, MI; died unknown; married January 25, 1899, Greenbush, Alcona County, MI, to Mary Jane BURTON, daughter of Thomas BURTON and Francis PROCUNIER. Mary Jane was born June 8, 1878, Greenbush, Alcona County, MI; died July 9, 1921, Flint, MI. 8) Unnamed male MORRILL born January 11, 1881, Brockway, St. Clair County, MI; died January 13, 1881, Brockway, St. Clair County, MI. During the same time frame, there was an O. P. CHAMBERLAIN and his brother, Eli CHAMBERLAIN who were prominent citizens in Brockway, St. Clair County, MI.
