Chamberlin was reported missing at the Battle of Fort Wagner the year before the submarine Hunley sank in 1864 although his identification tag has been located aboard the wreckage of the Hunley. It's a very interesting story and, while I have nothing to do with the search or the family, one I felt that you as researchers needed to be made aware of. Wanda VanderVeen
