That seems to work for the birth places of his children. His last child that was born in NY was David B. born 1831 in Ontario County, NY. The next child Chancy/Chauncy was born 3 Feb 1836 in Macomb County, MI. I recently sent for David Chamberlain's Surrogate record of 1821 from Ontario County, NY. He could be the father of Beekman and Malancton. Malancton also had a son, Chancy born in NY. He had daughters, Triphena and Mary born in NY. Many people don't know this, but the town that the Chamberlin's lived near in Macomb County was called Honeoyo. It was later changed to Armada, Macomb, MI. Gary K.
