    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: jparker194 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.chamberlin/234.1.4.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Thank you, Gary, for your three replies to my earlier Ancestry.com Chamberlin messages. I appreciate seeing this additional detail you've provided. The analysis of this subject is quite complex - I'd be pleased to correspond with you via Email if you wish, and, of course, I'd be interested to learn what information you find for David Ch'm, etc. Reviewing my files one more time, just now, shows just how much more needs to be done. Perhaps the key to unlocking the relationships between the various families mentioned in my posting (and listed in early Ontario Co. census data), lies in identifying eaching of the seven individuals listed in Canadice, Ontario Co., NY in the 1830 census. One of them is Beekman, p. 259: 011001-111001 (age 30-40), whose parents remain unidentifed. Another is Isaac, p. 257: 100002-1100100001 (male age 30-40), believed to be brother of Pierce and son of Joshua [William(1) descendant], but who are the other four?: - Aaron: 1001-00001 (age 15-20) - David: 00001-2001 (age 20-30) - Joseph: 11001-10101 (age 20-30) - William: 00021001-000020011 (male age 50-60) - note the presence of 3 males in this family of about the same age as Aaron, David and Joseph. - These four are listed on page 257, with Aaron & Joseph listed side-by-side (probably brothers), with Isaac just 4 doors away from Aaron & Joseph - is he related to them? - Melancton W? Chamberlin is listed in Richmond, p. 187: 01001-0120001 (age 20-30), together with another William on p. 185: 00001000001-000001 (age 20-30 with another unidentified older male in this family, age 70-80) - Of all these individuals listed in 1830, all disappear from Ontario Co. in 1840, except for William in Richmond, p. 263: 000101-000002 (age 30-40), and he is gone by 1850. I'll not go on with this recital, other than to reiterate that I need some help with this analysis. You can contact me via Email is you wish, at jbparker@provide.net And no, I have no reason to think that my Parker line is closely related to James Parker who married Ruth Adams, but there could be a distant relationship.
