I am searching for any information pertaining to Alfred Hilton Chamberlin. He is son of Benjamin Chamberlin of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. He died in a railway accident in June of 1941 when he was squished between two cars. After his death it was discovered he had two seperate families... one in Winnipeg and another elsewhere in Canada. I am a relation of the Winnipeg family. He married Muriel Grawbarger of Renfrew, Ontario, Canada and had 6 sons and 2 daughters. Some remained in Winnipeg, many moved to B.C. We have reason to believe the "other" family may reside in Sudbury or Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Any help would be great. I have already checked with the Candian government re: railway records and they said there is no way of tracing this other family. Most railway companys dispose of their records after a certain period. Any information would be great. I will share information! Robin Dudgeon Winnipeg, MB
