My late Aunt (Maiden name Chamberlin) said the >Lincoln name was somehow related to are former President - I have no clue >as to the validity of her statements. Any info on my >Chamberlin family would be greatly appreciated and maybe I could help >answer qany questions you might have. >Thank You >Peter L. Chamberlin Just a note on this. I've studied the Lincoln line quite thoroughly from his family down and unless behind Abraham's father there are no Lincolns. I've found nothing proven behind his father, although someone else might. There are Hanks from his mother's side, one being the actor Tom Hanks, but no male Lincoln descendents had children. Abe's father and brother were killed in a massacre. His only son to live to adulthood had no children. Good luck on your search. Glenora Chamberlin
