He was born 8 May 1721, Charlestown, Middlesex Co., MA, where he was baptized 14 May 1721; d. there 30 Jun 1762; he married Mary Phillips, 18 June 1744 there; her birthdate 16 Feb 1721/22, death date not listed; 11 children listed between 1744 and 1761. Mary was the daughter of John & Frances (Garland) Phillips John(4) is 1 of 7 children of John(3) Chamberlain, b. c1694, Medford or Cambridge, MA, d. 19 May 1781, Weston, Middlesex Co., MA, and his first wife, Thankful Wilson, m. c1718, prob. Charlestown, MA; she b. 20 Dec 1693 there, d. 26 Aug 1764 there. The line of descent is John(4), John(3), Jacob(2), William(1) Chamberlain of Billerica, MA.
