All I have is the 1928 Flint Central High School Yearbook. It has her senior picture and that's all. My scanner isn't working right now, but when I get it fixed I would be able to e-mail you a copy of the page from the yearbook. Let me know if you are interested and I will put your e-mail on file until my scanner works.

While my Chamberlins are originally from England, then Mass. by the 1700's they were in New Jersey. Sorry, I can't help. Sylvia
I have several William Chamberlins in my tree. Do you know where yours come from? I also have a John G Chamberlin.
My son-in-law and hence my grandchildren are descendents of William Chamberlin of Barnard, Vermont ( Samuel, John, John, William). William had brothers Thomas, Joseph, John according to the history of Barnard. I am interested in any information available for this family. William was born in Petersham, Mass.on October 23, 1754 and my interest is with his second wife Elizabeth Winslow. They have Mayflower descendency. If this relates please contact me. My primary contact/resource person is Peter Chamberlin - ref. GenForum Chamberlin posting, dated 23 Mar 2002, by Peter Chamberlin [Email: pac03278@yahoo.com ], & response by me, dated 24 Mar 2002, providing discussion of various possibilities for the parents/lineage of this William Chamberlin. Since then, we carried on considerable Email correspondence, exchanged GEDCOM files, and so forth, which includes sources & documentation. So I do have confirmation, based on family & Bible records, of William Hatch Chamberlin's birth, parents and ancestry. Born 1 Apr 1845, Sharon, Windsor Co., VT, d. 24 Sep 1930, perhaps Chelsea, Orange Co., VT, he was the 3rd of 4 children of Asahel(7) Chamberlin, b. 7 Dec 1784, Strafford, Orange Co., VT, d. 9 Jul 1869, Sharon, VT, and his 2nd wife, Martha Strong, b. 4 Jun 1810, Plainfield, NH, d. 21 Aug 1902, married 6 Apr 1838, Sharon! , VT (Asahel's 1st wife was Sophia Corkins). Ancestral line of descent: Asahel(7), Amasa(6), William(5) Jr., William(4), Joseph(3), William(2), Henry(1) Chamberlin of Hingham & Hull, MA, the oldest and most prolific of the original five New England Chamberlain/lin immigrant ancestors in the early 1600s. William Hatch Chamberlin had 4 children by each of his 2 wives, and I have listed here an extensive lineage on down to the present day for one of these children, Curtis Asahel Chamberlin, ancestor of Peter Chamberlin. Yes, William H. is the individual you have listed in the 1850 Census, and I too have been unable to locate him in the 1880 Census. Please contact me via Email if you wish additional information. I am also curious to learn more details about the family of your own grgrgrandmother, William H.'s sister, you said.

One of these was William Hatch Chamberlin (often called simply "Hatch"). He was born @1845, most likely in Sharon, Vermont. He served in the 4th and 9th Regiments of the Vermont Infantry, during the American Civil War. Looking for anyone that has information on this family, both his immediate family and any confirmation on his ancestry. His date of birth is calculated from the 1850 US Census, where he is listed as aged 5. If this is accurate, I have been unable to locate him in the 1880 US Census, but have found that the familysearch.org site seems to be very "bare" in regards to Vermont 1880 Census records. Many Thanks for any help on this individual/family Jared

Social Security Death Index (ref. Mormon/LDS Family Search online site), lists these dates, SS#273-20-0703, issued OH, with Zip Code at time of death of 43211 (Columbus & Linden Station, Franklin Co., OH). So Robert was probably born in OH, and evidently died in Columbus, where you said he was married (no date given). This indicates that he likely lived in Columbus his entire married life, and his marriage, death, obituary, burial and other records should be available there. One of the best ways to trace him on back from 1982 would be in City Directories (e.g. Polk's), which you can likely find in the Columbus Public Library and elsewhere. 1930 Census records (microfilm images available here through my Ancestry.com subscription) list five Robert Chamberlain or Chamberlin children in OH, aged 4-5, with two of them who are very likely candidates (the other 3 are listed in Ashtabula, Wood and Lorain counties, all in the northern part of Ohio): - Robert Chamberlin, Defiance, Delaware Co., OH, p. 1A, age 5, b. OH, with parents b. OH; son of Rose Chamberlin, a widow, age 38, whose father was born in Switzerland and father in OH, with several other children listed in this widow's family. This area is just n.e. of Columbus. - Robert C. Chamberlain, age 5, Columbus, Franklin Co., OH, p. 12B, household #179/199, son of Charles P., age 32, b. OH, father b. MN, a truck driver in a lumber company; with wife Ida G., age 30 b. OH; Oscar A., son, age 12, b. OH; Letha M., dau., age 10, b. OH This information should permit you to trace these families in earlier Census & other records. Please contact me via Email if you have any questions or additional identifying information to share.
