No one can ever convince me that memories and just a sense of how things are supposed to be, aren't passed down genetically. I made a fan about 2 years ago and chose turkey feathers and used buckskin to wrap around it. I have done little beading yet on it. I used 7 feathers. I have never heard of (until now) a Choctaw dance fan. I would love to see pictures of others who have made them. Yakoke. Vera
