    2. Jim Morrisson: Sorry, I can tell you nothing more than a state census is just a head count of the people living in a state. The "write up" you have is a transcription of the state census. If you looked up that record on microfilm or soundex, that is the information that would be handwritten on the census page. Most genealogy records available on the Internet DO NOT give that much information. They are BRIEF synopses of transcriptions of actual records and usually just list the head of household, county, township or district, year of event and the number assigned to that record. Then it is necessary to go to the library, pick out the microfilm roll that has that numbered record, and scroll thru until it is found. ====== Robin
