Hi Markie Well the handle is made of balsa wood as it is very very light weight, that is covered with buckskin. The feathers are each wrapped with a fine string looks alot like thread each feather is separated by a brass bead \0/0\0/ above the thread each feather has a bone bead. the dots on the fan are sequins on the first row of dots and they attach a colored very small feather to the turkey feather. next row of dots seems like a rubber circle of some kind (on the back side of the fan the sequins are on the back of these dots, the last row of dots are sequins which attach the longer narrow colored feathers to the tops of the turkey feathers there are ribbons that stream off the bottom of the fan. There is no beadwork on them. I just wanted to thank everyone again for your prayers and blessings. I'm a much happier person right now, because of them. Last Sunday night was looking pretty grim waiting for Monday and Tuesday to come and go. My daughter was sprung today! She went to her mother-in-laws for tonight where the kids are. I'm picking her up in the morning, then it's on to her house for a few days. Mike is back at work pulling light duty. Shoot, he's young, strong, I know now it won't hurt him!! LOL Thank you all so much, words can't tell you how much. Markie
