    3. If anyone lives within driving distance of Memphis, there's something you just have to see. I have lived within an hour of Memphis for almost 11 yrs and didn't know this existed until last summer. The Chucalissa Museum is located just South of Memphis. It's basically all about the Choctaw, with some about the Chickasaw too. They have a nice gift shop with all kinds of books, tapes and info about the Choctaw...more than I could find in the library. Lots of Charley Jones' tapes too. We went over there today for the Choctaw Festival, and had a wonderful time. There was the Pow-Wow and venders all set up which normally wouldn't be there. The dancers did a great job considering it was 100+. We enjoyed the stickball game and visiting with people that I met at our Pow-Wow last year. I plan to go back soon....maybe when it's cooled off some and really check out the village and the bluffs and see the museum a little better. They have a website if anyone would like to see it....I'll try to put the link here: http://www.people.memphis.edu/~chucalissa/index.html Shelley
