Patsy, When someone says to hack an URL they mean to cut it back. Such as this. The original URL given was www.homestead.com/whitebuffalomiracle/miracle The page isn't found. But "hack" the URL back and the web site comes up: www.homestead.com/whitebuffalomiracle/ This is something to first do if you go to a page at a web site (as long as it's not the main index page) and find it's not there. Quite often if you hack down the URL you can find the web site and then go in and find if the page is still there...its name may have just been changed for instance.
