Fay, that is a very good site, but lacking in Choctaw mapping content. While we are on this subject, I should also mention that I have accumulated a pretty wide variety of early Mississippi and Alabama maps that are available on the web. A couple of them came from the University of Texas collection that you referred me to, Fay. Should anyone need any sort of early MS or AL map, please let me know. I may have it already. The only thing that is lacking is some sort of early map showing Choctaw trails and paths in the central Mississippi area. An example of one of these maps may be found at http://www2.netdoor.com/~carleton/carleton1989-large.html It is an 18th century map centered principally around Neshoba County (Today's Philadelphia site). I am really trying to locate a similar map for the old Leflore District, a bit north and west of what is shown on this map. Thanks, Fay. Appreciate your interest.
