But how do you know what year that roll was done? I'm thinking there is some broad span of years. Do you just have to wait until you get the packet and then will you be able to find out about when they were born? Each group is dated with the year it was done. If you'll look on the original pages, it's at the top of the start of each group. (Choctaw Minors, Choctaw Adults, etc.) Most groups are dated as of 1902, but some have other dates. You can figure from the age in 1902, or whatever year, back to when they were born.
