Hello, I have been lurking here for a few days scared to crawl out of the woodwork, but you all sound so friendly so hopefully you aren't going to yell at me to go away! I am English and live in Sweden. So why I am on this mailing list you may ask. Well, I am also a writer and I need some help with information concerning the Choctaw Nation in the 1860s. Hi Katie, My grandmother was dutch . and my greatgrandmother was three quaarters choctaw. so i am part both what is it you would like to know? i am a student of archaeology, I can help you a little. what is it you are writing? I am writing some movie scripts, been working on them for 20 years. one is about King Tutankhamen. and the other is about Leonardo Da Vince and Mona Lisa Giaconda and anothter is about the Lost land of Atlantis. Oh Katie, We are so glad you are here and you can ask the crew, I don't allow yelling and screaming. LOL. When you say Choctaw Nation, are you referring to the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma? I'm thinking you are since this is how you stated it. There are many folks here that can help you and there is also a mail list for the OK Choctaw. Does anyone know if there is a list for OK Choctaw that is like our Chahta list that discussed everything else other than genealogy?
