Great words Elkdreamer!!!!!!!! It is so easy to misinterperet someone on this computer. Facial expressions are not seen on here. You can even tell in someone's eyes if they are kidding or not with you. Thanks so much for the words you have expressed as they are sooooooo true. Hi Jim, Your a good man and all you need to say is please don't call me Sir cause I don't like that. Some people say it makes them feel old. I think its just respect for the other person. Each one of us has our own feelings and if we express them then things change. Its the holding back of feelings that make us loose it. It is so much better to talk out our feelings than to hold them in. Its like a sore that festers after a while it pops. If we take good care od it it will go away without hurting so bad. Have a blessed day Jim and thanks for calling me ma'am Regards, Linda ----- Original Message ----- From: "Elkdreamer Wilkins" <elkdremr@hotmail.com> To: <CHAHTA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, April 11, 2001 6:45 AM Subject: Re: Yes and no ma'am Re: [CHAHTA] twinkies > Halito Jim > Good Words > Walk in Beauty > Elkdreamer > > > >From: "Jim Morrison, Jr." <jmorsn@coastalnet.com> > >Reply-To: CHAHTA-L@rootsweb.com > >To: CHAHTA-L@rootsweb.com > >Subject: Re: Yes and no ma'am Re: [CHAHTA] twinkies > >Date: Tue, 10 Apr 2001 08:15:16 -0400 > > > >Hi Linda > >Thank you, ma'am! > >Jim > > > >jmorsn@coastalnet.com > >http://www2.coastalnet.com/~g7d3j4nb/ > >----- Original Message ----- > >From: "Linda Branum" <mamalin@1s.net> > >To: <CHAHTA-L@rootsweb.com> > >Sent: Monday, April 09, 2001 8:05 AM > >Subject: Re: Yes and no ma'am Re: [CHAHTA] twinkies > > > > > > > Hi Jim, > > > Some people don't and if told my children and I will respect your > >wishes. > > > Regards, Linda > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > > From: "Jim Morrison, Jr." <jmorsn@coastalnet.com> > > > To: <CHAHTA-L@rootsweb.com> > > > Sent: Monday, April 09, 2001 1:29 AM > > > Subject: Re: Yes and no ma'am Re: [CHAHTA] twinkies > > > > > > > > > > It all goes back to how you were raised and the degree of respect you > >were > > > > taught!! Halito Jim I am 57yrs old and Male. It is alright to argue with each other. That is how we learn. Just remember that sometimes words come out wrong. When we are writing we are not able to see each other face to face. Half of any language is in the facial expressions so sometimes what we said isn't what we mean. What we say to a person face to face come's out different because we know if they are smilying or frowning etc: Don't ever stop learning Walk in Beauty Elkdreamer >From: "Jim Morrison, Jr." <jmorsn@coastalnet.com> >Reply-To: CHAHTA-L@rootsweb.com >To: CHAHTA-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [CHAHTA] Jim, Never ending quest >Date: Tue, 10 Apr 2001 08:50:19 -0400 > >I am not inviting trouble with what I am going to say (I hope!!!). >The list manager, Dusty, has not told me to cease. Patsy, When someone says to hack an URL they mean to cut it back. Such as this. The original URL given was www.homestead.com/whitebuffalomiracle/miracle The page isn't found. But "hack" the URL back and the web site comes up: www.homestead.com/whitebuffalomiracle/ This is something to first do if you go to a page at a web site (as long as it's not the main index page) and find it's not there. Quite often if you hack down the URL you can find the web site and then go in and find if the page is still there...its name may have just been changed for instance.
