I am glad I saw your post, I tried to do my family tree last year but got a dead end because my mom and her brother and sister didn't know the real last name of their grandfather Riley Perkins. All they knew was that he was adopted or taken in by Thomas Crittenden and Lydia Perkins. I don't know much about him but my mom sure would know. I called her and she said it would be okay to give you her phone number. Her name is Lila Phillips and she also is the grand-daughter of Riley Perkins.
