It's not out of the question and would make for one of those genealogy nightmares of who is whom. On the other hand, if there is only one, there has to be some glaring mistakes made someplace. >From the dates you listed James who married Susan Sutton dau. of Thomas and Hannah Lawson Suttonand James who married Amanda Yeary dau. of Jacob and Serelda Chadwell Yeary seem to be a generation apart. Could they be 2nd cousins? They couldn't be first cousins because that would make to two Adams brothers. The only way they could be uncle and nephew would be if the older James had a father named Adam and a brother named Adam and the brother named one of his sons after his brother--James Whitten Yeary. I also need to go back and review the relationship of Jacob and Adam Yeary. But anyway it slices everyone appears to be related.
