Swafford 73, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at her Indianapolis residence. She was a former resident of Johnson County. She was born on March 9, 1932 in Knox County, Kentucky to the late Lester and Hazel (Perry) Chadwell. She married Ellis Swafford. He preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, L.B. Swafford of Franklin; one daughter Ruth Bagosy of Indianapolis; three brothers, Gene Chadwell, G.C. Chadwell, and Shelby Chadwell; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. She retired from Arvin Industries where she worked as a laborer for 21 years. A service will be conducted on Saturday at 2 p.m in Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood, IN. Friends may call from 12 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Hospice, 8111 S.
