The reason i say this,and believe my GGmother Mary Chadwick brn abt 1831 NC was believed to be a Aunt or a close relative to the James boys,and has at one time talked about a lady named Zee whom I believe was Jesse's wife. My GGmother was a Mary Hodgin's brn abt 1831 NC per the 1900 Anderson Co TN census,and lived in KY at one time. Also heard she was a Aunt to the James boys,and may be actually a James herself,and married a Hodgin/Hodgen's before she married my GGfather John Chadwick brn abt 1820/30's either from Eng or NC, Somewhere the family name Blue fit it,possible GA,and OK Some families who may have a connection,Blue/Ballew,James, Calloway,Gilliam,Bull,Bass,McSpadden,Cate's,Kimbrough/Kimbro.Dollar?,. Feb 1858 Va or TN and China (poss maiden name also Chadwell) b.May 1861 1900 census lists 3 children Cora 15 b. Apr 1885 Henry or Henly 13 b.Oct 1886 Malissey, 10, Dec 1889 This is where it gets confusing... There seems to be 2 Elberts born about the same time. One went to Missouri with his parents to farm. Cora's father, stayed in KY. but, the Chadwell book has them crossed up. And the trees on ancestry have coflicting spouses and parents. I'm only going by what I can see on census.
