My father, last I heard, lives in Ocala, Florida. He is my great-great grandfather. He married Mary. There children were: Sarah (my great grandmother), Colfield, Ida, and Lizzie (Elizabeth), Floyd, maybe some others not sure. My great grandmother was born in Tennessee. The family must have moved to Knox County Ky near Barboursville at some point, since David & Mary are buried in the same cemetery (Trace Branch or now McDonald Cemetery) that many of my relatives are buried. My grandmother Cora doesn't remember people as much as she used to, but when I question her about names and things, she recalls some. Any information would help. I believe that my David is the son of George Spencer Chadwell, son of William Chadwell, on down to Cpt. David Chadwell. My grandmother thinks that Mary's last name was Littrell. On page 31 there is a family photo of Harrison Chadwell, his wife (Emeretta Smith) and all 7 children. The youngest is my grandfather, Ira Lee. I have never seen a picture of him before. He died in 1915 at age 26, when my father was less than a year old. Could some very kind soul make photocopy of the page and send it to me? I would happily pay for a copy and postage.
