Let me try to explain this again. When data is imported from Ver 2, it will put all "place" names in ver 2 to "place" names in Ver 3 - regardless of the format. One exception is when it sees the ADDR (address event) then it puts the "place" name from Ver 2 into the "address" list of Ver 3. (I may have also made the RESI - residence - event work like the ADDR event, can't remember right now.) >I miss the tree and bookmarks icons a bit... The "tree" icon is replaced with the "ancestors" tab. The format is different but the function is the same. The BookMark is there (press "B" or Tools Menu), but I suppose you mean you would like the icon there. This could be done. Ira ---------------------------------------------------------- Ira J.
