Ira - I use a laptop quite a lot. I connect it to my desktop using Direct Cable Connect (similar to lap link) which is built into Win 95 and Win 98. Then I use "My Briefcase" while I am away from home When I come back, I can automatically update all the files in the Desk Top using Direct Cable Connect. The way CFT is now set up, I cannot use it in "My Briefcase". If you understand "My Briefcase" you will know what I mean. If not, let me know, and I will give you a more detailed explanation without boring the list with it. My point is, it would be nice if I could use CFT through "My Briefcase", however, I do not know if it is possible to set it up that way since multiple data files are used. Let me know what you think.
