I specifically tried the above using Windows 98 and did not find a problem. I had infrequent freezups when I was on windows 95 which were of little concern since I never seemed to lose data and it was one of many gliches that I got using that system. I generally experienced several freeze ups a day so got used to living with them. I did not spedifically try the above when on that system. I have "upgraded" to Windows 98 and so far, no freezeups in any application after a few days operations.
