I am using version 2.32 on Win 95. This happens when I try to use the "Auto-Backup". (what is the "Normal Back-up" you refer to?) Here are the steps I go thru for a backup: 1. After making my entries and I am finished working on these I click on "file". 2. Then click "close database". This gives me; Error 160: (or 280 sometimes) Backup Was Unsuccessful. 3. I then click on "close" (with-in the "automatic Database Backup" window) 4. This takes me to the CFT Database Window where I click on "Backup". 5. This takes me to "Backup, Select Backup Database & Destination". 6. I then click on "Select". 7. This takes me to "Select Destination Backup File". 8. I then select "Folder" and click "OK". 9. I then get a caution window saying "This file already exists. Do you want to replace it?" I click "Yes". 10. This takes me to "Select Destination Backup File" where I click on "Backup". 11. I then get the "Overwrite" window which tells me the previous file already exists. 12. I then click "Yes" and the backup finally is completed. Thanks for any help!
