In Beta 2 I have added some options where you can include or exclude the paranthesis around the date. However, for the date you gave above I suggest that you enter the year in a Normal date and perhaps a comment such as "early in the year" in the free format date field then the sentence will read: Michael CALDER attended High School 1943 (early in the year) at Sydney Boys High School. The advantage to this is that with the year in teh true date field it can then be used for calculations such as auto date ordering and in teh case of births and deaths - age calculations and such. >Will you be announcing Beta 2 when it is posted?
