I am finally learning how to do GEDCOM imports. I have imported 3 separate databases into separate CFT databases. There is a lot of overlap, so I would like to merge into my main database. I noticed that there were a number of events (specifically LDS events) that were in the last 4 or 5 years ( for people who died centuries ago!). I have no idea where these came from, but suspect it is some error in translation? I am using 2.23. 2 questions: 1) Is there some way I can flag all records in a database with a specific source? I would like to automjatically create a source recordfor each individual and event that states the source as "Jim Browns GEDCOM files". 2) Is there an automatic or interactive way that I can merge all of this information into one database (I have 2800 names in my main DB, and each of the imported ones is between 5 and 6 thousand!)
