Ira, Some more observations on Version Beta 2 1. Database Configurations Options - I dont think the field lengths for Email and Web Site are long enough. I think at least 60 characters will be needed for the web URL. 2. The Spell Checker does not remember to use the custom dictionary. On the Word Not Found dialogue box the Open Custom button is greyed out and the Option/Open Custom needs to be used each time. After which asking for suggestions will find the words in the custom dictionary. The OCX has been successfully registered. 3. A few days ago I reported that the List function in the Address Editor was only listing 1 person even when there should be several. I can confirm that if several people have the same address they are listed correctly. The problem seems to be with the file load from version 2 because only one event is being correctly assigned to an address. Any other events that were associated with that place in version 2 now have a blank in the Address Event. 4. Address List and Place List conversion. This seems to present another problem. In my version 2 Place List I have entries that apply to both an Address Event and other Events such as a Birth. When these are converted to Version 3 any one Version 2 Place entry is added to the new Place List or the New Address List. The result is hundreds of Events without and Address or a Place. It seems to me that any entry in the existing version 2 place list that is used as an address and a place will need to be added to both of the new lists.
