    3. G'day Ira, I have not seen this discussed at length but maybe I missed it. I am now working my way through the setting up of a book and viewing "The Lund Family Heritage" to see how it works. I noticed a few points which you may like to comment on. 1. When I get to print "The Lives of Frida Rage and Ancestors" I see that beneath her name is (See page 15 for this persons story). It also happens under other names. ***see below 2. For some reason the Sample Default Event Date/Place/Desc List would not print. Then I found that there was no Report entered in the Edit Book Section window. I selected the correct report and then I marked you and Frida but then got just your names and the headings in the "Preview". 3. The Sample Default Event Dates List only showed a 1 under MARR for those selected. 4. The Sample Description List would not print and I couldn't find a "Description List" to put in the Report Box of the Edit Book Section window so I used Misc Data List to get something. 5. Ditto the Source Note List so I used the Source List. 6. I now see that the Indexed Book that one sets up is just the framework on which you hang all the various reports you decide to use so that you do so in an orderly manner. I also appreciate that, as you sequentially work through the printing process, so the pages are correctly numbered, headings added etc. 7. It would be nice to have the settings that are used for a particular "titled" report eg. "Descendants of Morgen Hans Lund" to be stored with that title so that you do not have to reset them. If I go to the "Descendants of Johan S. S. Rage" I still have Morgen set up as the key and have to change this to Johan, possibly even having to change the number of generations. This also applies to the "documents". Note what happened in 8 below. 8.*** The reason that this was page 15 is because I now realise that I had the beginning IRN set at 1 (Ira) (probably from an earlier look at your DB) and I had assumed that the settings for each report was part of the "Book Setup". Never the less I find this method of eliminating the repetition of the personal story most ingenious, one could say brilliant - It is all "smoke and mirrors" to me. 9. I do find it a bit strange that I cannot Edit the Title Page of the book. 10. It might be worth saying that the book can be reviewed by just previewing each section, you do not actually have to print it. A first class facility. Thanks. HURU, Mike
