No, I am very certain that 2.27 files can be read with 2.29. That's not the problem. The message means that there are no proper TPS files in the directory database you are trying to restore to. However, the restore should create such files if they do not exist. Or maybe I don't remember correctly. Now I wonder if the message means that no valid family tree files exist in the backup file. Can you use PKZIP or WinZip to view the backup to see if it is valid. You could unzip that way direct to a directory within CFT-Win. >Lastly, I had previously indicated that the Lund fonts were not on the >Windows\fonts directory so I would reload from the Cleansweep backup from >the 2.27 removal copy. I also suspect that your reports won't work properly. Try manually copying the files in Explorer from cft-win dir to \windows\fonts. This should install them. Hope that works. I'd like to know if it is successful. Ira ---------------------------------------------------------- Ira J.
