Create a new database with no default individual or family events. 2. Create a key individual. Add any event. 3. Add a spouse. Switch off the Living flag. 4. INSERT (not add) a Marriage event to the KEY Individual. 5. Check the Spouse - no marriage event! Hope this helps.
