I guess today was the day when all this file transfer stuff finally hit me hard. Would you believe that so many people suddenly decided to send me large files I had almost 5Meg of messages and I have spent the whole evening trying to get at any of my e-mail. The whole system has just been choked on all this stuff. - even though I had a threshhold of about 200K max all that my system was supposed to accept. Finally, I think I have it cleared up. But I am posting this message here to notify everyone that I shall simply have to request that no one send me any data files (especially unwarned). I shall set my e-mail to 50K max on any message. If I must look at data in the future I shall have to ask for a mailed diskette. This is not the first time (only the worst time) that large data files e-mailed to me have caused me problems.
