G'day Ira I've been having a great time with your software adding all those events that other packages can't adequately deal with. I now have over 600 names but a long way to go to get all the details recorded. Most of may ancestors are Dutch and I have been using the name in the format: Antonius Johannes/de BONT/ when I add a child or a father the program defaults to a surname of /BONT/. This appears a strange behavior given that by your specification the characters enclosed by the / / are deemed to be the surname. Program revision is 2.27 16 bit By the way - love the ability to sort on the REAL part of our Dutch surnames. Sure stops that crush at the 'd' and 'v'. Thanks for a great product. Cheers ....
