It means that the person is connected to a FRN (family/marriage record) that does not contain a husband or wife. The only time this may be a problem is if you later find the father or mother and try to "link" (connect) to them you will get a message saying that person already has parents. You can ignore the warning. If you want to get rid of it then add a temporary dummy father and "disconnect" the child from the father. Then delete the dummy father. This should remove the reference to the FRN.
