    3. I still think something is wrong internally. Did you try the Tools Menu Rebuild? When this child is the Key Ind on main screen do the proper parents show? Not sure what else to suggest. I have a hard time believeing there is a bug. How large is your database? (how many names?) The way the descendent report runs seems to be dependent on where this event is listed for Male A. If I list it in the correct chronological order, ie as occurring BEFORE Male A's marriage to Female C, then the report does not differentiate whose child the result of the first union was and I get the problem I first contacted you about. However, if I list the Engagement last in Male A's events (ie not in correct chronological order) then the report separates out the various events and says Male A and Female C were married and had the following children, then goes on and says Male A and Female B were engaged to be married and had the following children. This solves the confusion about whose child is whose, but leaves a chronology problem in Male A's events. > >I can live with this, but is there anything else I can do? > >John L Smith >Canberra ACT Australia >johnsmith@interact.net.au >URL: http://users.interact.net.au/~plsj/ > > >-----Original Message----- >From: Ira J.
