Jon I have the same problem now. It just started happening all of a sudden and now there are no words showing up in the American dictionary. BTW, I'm still using 2.27 so it is not 2.28 or 2.29 specific. I believe this is a problem with Win95 somehow. It is notorious for doing things like this and I have already mentioned here the problem with Win95 losing files. I don't think it actually loses them, I just believe it loses the pointers in the FAT and doesn't know where to look for them.
