This also happens on my computer occasionally: Sometimes I receive blank messages from the CFT Win Mailing list. Now that I am sending a message anyway, I would like to report that I never had any problems with the backup facility. I have installed CFT Win on my ZIP drive, and on exit I always make a backup on my Hard disk (C:). The program then warns me that the backup file exists already and asks me politely to confirm if want to overwrite it. I use the 32 bit version of CFT Win.
