Hello Ira and all, Gedcom export and marking/unmarking of records I am wondering if I have misunderstood how this function should work. Therefore I will explain what I am trying to do - but fail. I want to make a gedcom file of all desceased descendants of one of my 2. great grandfathers. Therefore I do the following: 1) Mark all descendants w/spouses of that couple. The result after step one is 517 individuals. 2) Unmark all living. Step 2) takes forever (it feels like that) - and the result is that all living are marked (Yes - I have checked the Unmark field). I believed that step 2 should unmark all the marked persons that are living - leaving me with the deceased individual of the selected descendants - but it does not seem to work that way.
