Ira and All, I have been adding a lot of new individuals, of whom I do not know very much so far, lately to my database. As default individual standard events I have Birth and Death, and as default family standard event I have Marriage. Now, while adding those new persons I normally know their date of birth and / or their date of death. So that is what I normally enter first. Then I sometimes know the name of the spouse, but often not the date of marriage. Therefor, after entering the name of the spouse, the marriage event appears in the events list of both individuals, but always at the bottom of the list, after the death event. Now I wonder, would it be possible if a family event (especially marriage) is added automatically, to have it added not at the bottom of the events lists, but (at least) before the death event? Or is this a strange wish? (Of course I could extend my wish for any event that normally takes place before death, but for most events we can use the "insert" option to get it in the right place). I know that I can sort event dates automatically, but unfortunately it often happens -as I mentioned- that I only know the name of the spouse and not (yet) the date of marriage.
