Why is this happening? A while back (starting maybe 3 years ago) I had "Exactly" the same type of problem(s). People married to the wrong people, dates turning up in the wrong place (every birth was one generation off). Rebuild would not work to correct the problem(s). The only solution was to run a gedcom export. Years ago I passed this info onto Ira and he did try to assist me. Ira was able to repair my data base at least twice when I couldn't get anything to work right. BUT now to today. My rebuilds will NOT work, the Gedcom export runs into problems and will not import properly, data will not go into the proper place. Ira tried to clear it up but said I had some sort of a corrupted data base. After so many problems I would back up after entering small groups of data. Now when I run the restore I get that the restore didn't work properly. So with about 17,000 names I have an almost useless data base. Luckily I had squirreled away a backup at 16,000 that appears to work-but then I'm afraid to try. Jack Bowman Hickory, NC
