Not only confusing. The program either is calculating actually for hours or it stalls completely on the ancestors and decendants tab if there are too many generations to search (haven't found out yet where the generation limit is) . Example BURI: %N was buried %D p{at} %P. - (no %M shown) whereas RELI: %N was a member of %M p{at} %P m{(%D)}. Am I right that the different language versions are not yet included ? When switching to 'German' the menu and the story are still in English. I would offer to rewrite the German version as soon as I understand the underlying syntax (e.g. had some problems with the 'p(at)' command) > 7. Name Search. > I have many persons with the same name. Can't see the point here . There is an additional window popping up showing events, dates and data. > The namedisplay does not always start with the Key person. Yes, I also would like to have that option back. The Given Name search doesn't show the name in the 'commonly used given name-field' but the first name in the full name-field (e.g. my full name is Helmut Max Gschneidinger, commonly used given name Max, given name search lists me under Helmut). Do I understand anything wrong here ? Max
