I think you are correct that CFT-Win Ver 2 won't allow proper entry of such dates. Could you enter the fll date in notes for now and in Ver 3 you'll find much better date capablities - including the UCC (Universal Calendar Calculator) which will convert between 10 different calendars (including French Republican and Gregorian.) First off - I'm afraid I am totally ignorant on even what Linux/X-Windows is. Secondly, I am guessing that because I don't know it, it is a small market. Most people use Windows 95/NT and are following the Microsoft path (whether we really like it or not). To most people there is no other choice. So I feel I should stay where the market is. Thirdly, since I have done so much work on the program and write in a particular language (Clarion) that likely isn't compatible with Linux, I am not interested in learning a new programming language, nor writing and maintaining another version of CFT-Win.
