>When I publish a book I use the two sided function of a photocopier for >the finished product. I keep a hard copy of each book printed by CFT, >therefore parts of the book are photocopied numerous times. Since I may >change one page of a report, depending on who is receiving the book, I >use the "preview" function and then select a page to be printed instead >of printing the full report. While working in the Print Index of Names >window I noticed that it works different than the other preview windows. >Its more of an annoying situation than a real problem. Wanting to print >two copies of page one the steps from the Indexed Book window are; >highlight Name Index, create (Index of Names window is opened), preview, >print, select 1 to 1, ok (CFT returns to the Print Index of Names >window), preview, print, select 1 to 1, ok. Now you have two pages of >page 1 of the report, but they have different page numbers. The page >number has advanced by the number of pages in the report. You must >return to the "create" button to maintain the same page number. The >Print Index of Names window is the only window that I have found that >does this. I am using ver. 2.30. Sounds like you have a good handle on the Indexed Book printing - something that can be tricky for many people. Your description of the problem is quite good and I immediately think I know what the porblem is (a bug) and can likely easily fix it. Will try to correct it for Ver 2.32.
