    3. What you describe is exactly the way it was programmed to behave. I do understand the need to have them placed in a precise order, so - as you supposed - would have to spend some time on how to cause this to happen, although this is not as easy as one might suspect. I think it will require some changes to the underlying data structure (in order to add a specific field that keeps them in an order specified by the user). Because of this, this feature is one that likely won't get implemented soon. Typically, data structures changes can really cause havoc for compatibility between issues and normally would require a major version change (from Ver 3 to Ver 4). I seem to have found a bit of a glitch. I wish to make a Chapter which comprises a number of Documents with the Documents as Topics (rather than separate chapters). When I construct my Document Report and use a Selection List which has in it a number of Documents the documents AUTOMATICALLY rearrange themselves in ALPHABETICAL order of their Titles. I want them in the order that I select them. There is a corollorary to this in that if I wish to have a Chapter of Individual Stories the selection list for these also rearranges itself alphabetically. For example, if I had a number of GRACIEs - the earliest being Joe then Don and then Allan - they will appear in the order Allan, Don and Joe. At this time of Christmas cheer I assume that this will have to go on the "possible improvements" list ;-) but the question is - Is it possible? The compliments of the season to you Ira and all the listers. Mike.
