I am a returning user of CFT v 3.14d I started my family tree a few years ago, basically transcribing some paper based records of my fathers, and I am now taking up where he left off, adding the latest generations. I think I have mastered the basics of CFT but I was wondering how to go about recording information that is general in nature, information that pertains to many generations. For example, like many families, many generations of my family lived in the same English village. What's the best way to record that information so that it can be included in a family history without having to attach it to one or more individuals? I'd welcome advice from other CFT users Regards Paul Barrett paul.barrett@hornton.org.uk
